Terms & Conditions
Last updated: October 14, 2026
1. Who we are and what these Terms cover
GitBuilty is a service operated by Teyra LLC ("Teyra", "we", "us"). These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Teyra LLC. They apply to your use of gitbuilty.com and of the GitBuilty service (together, the "Service"). By joining the waitlist, creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
If you use the Service for a company or other organization, you confirm that you can accept these Terms on its behalf, and "you" includes that organization.
2. The Service and early access
GitBuilty connects to a GitHub repository that you choose, reads the code, and writes a plain-English, source-backed summary of what the project does and what its features are. It keeps that project memory up to date as the repository changes, can send you a review e-mail when important changes land, and can publish a public project story page and export your summary.
GitBuilty is in early access. At this time, sign-up on gitbuilty.com is an e-mail waitlist only. Features, limits, prices and availability may change while we build and test the Service. Joining the waitlist does not create a paid subscription and does not oblige either of us to anything. We will e-mail you when sign-up opens, and you can ask us to remove your address at any time.
3. Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use the Service. To use GitBuilty you will sign in with your GitHub account and authorize the GitBuilty GitHub App. You agree to give accurate information, keep your account secure, and be responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at official@teyrallc.com if you think your account has been used without your permission.
4. GitHub access and your code
GitBuilty uses a GitHub App with read access. You choose which repositories to connect, and you can remove GitBuilty's access at any time in your GitHub settings.
- You keep your rights. You keep all rights, title and interest in your code and in everything in your repositories. These Terms do not transfer any ownership of them to us.
- Why we read your code. You give us permission to access, read and process the connected repositories only to provide the Service to you, including generating summaries, keeping project memory up to date, and sending you review e-mails.
- Your responsibility. You confirm that you have the right to connect each repository and to let us process it, including any third-party or confidential material in it.
- Read access only. We do not change your code or write to your repositories.
How we handle data is described in our Privacy page.
5. Summaries, exports and published pages
You may use the summaries, review e-mails and exports that GitBuilty generates about your project for any purpose, including publishing them. We keep all rights in the Service itself, including its software, design, name and logo.
If you publish a project story page, you give us a license to host and display what you choose to publish, and you are responsible for it. Before you publish, check that the content contains no secrets, credentials, personal data of other people, or anything you do not have the right to share. We may remove published content that breaks these Terms or the law.
If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them to improve the Service without owing you anything.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service in a way that breaks the law or the rights of others;
- connect repositories you do not have the right to connect;
- try to get around plan limits, billing, or technical protections, or share an account to avoid paying for more repositories;
- attack, overload, probe or disrupt the Service, or try to access data that is not yours;
- copy, resell, reverse engineer or build a competing product from the Service, except where the law allows it;
- use the Service to publish malicious, infringing, hateful or deceptive content, or to harass anyone;
- use automated means to create accounts or to submit the waitlist form.
We may suspend or limit access if we reasonably believe you are breaking this section.
7. Plans, free trial and limits
The plans at the time of writing are:
- Free trial: 14 days, no card required. 1 repository, 1 full scan and up to 3 update scans, and a public preview. The free trial never charges you automatically; you pay only if you choose to subscribe. We may refuse repeated trials that look like abuse.
- Builder: US$19 per month. 1 active repository, up to 20 analyses per billing period (at most 1 full scan), project memory, updates, story page and export.
The current plans, prices and limits are shown on our pricing page. Prices are in US dollars. Taxes may apply and are calculated at checkout.
8. Subscriptions and billing through Paddle
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
- Paddle takes your payment, collects any applicable taxes, and sends your receipt. We do not receive or store your full card details.
- Builder is a recurring subscription. It is billed monthly, in advance, and renews automatically each billing period until you cancel.
- If a payment fails, we or Paddle may retry it, and we may limit or end access to paid features until the payment succeeds.
- If we change the price of a plan, we will give you reasonable notice before the change applies to your next renewal, and you can cancel before then. A price change does not affect a period you have already paid for.
- Paddle's own terms for buyers apply to your purchase as well, and are shown at checkout.
9. Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time. Cancelling stops future renewals. Your access continues until the end of the period you already paid for, and you will not be charged again. You can cancel from your account once it is available, using the links in your Paddle receipt, or by e-mailing official@teyrallc.com. You can also stop using the free trial at any time.
10. Refunds
Our Refund Policy is part of these Terms. In short, the first payment of a subscription has a 14-day money-back guarantee, and renewals are refundable within 14 days if you have not used them. Your legal rights, including the withdrawal rights that apply in the EU and UK, are not affected. Refunds are issued through Paddle.
11. AI-generated content
GitBuilty uses artificial intelligence to write its summaries and reviews. AI-generated content can be incomplete, out of date or wrong, and may miss important details. Each statement is linked to its source so that you can check it. You are responsible for checking the output before you rely on it or share it.
The Service is not a security audit, code review, legal or compliance review, or professional advice of any kind. Do not use it as the only basis for decisions about security, safety, legal, financial or production matters.
12. Availability and changes to the Service
We work to keep the Service available, but we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. It may be unavailable for maintenance, updates, or reasons outside our control, including the availability of GitHub and other providers it depends on. We may change, add or remove features, particularly during early access. If we remove a paid feature in a way that materially reduces what you paid for, contact us and we will work with you on a fair solution.
13. Third-party services
The Service works with third-party services such as GitHub and Paddle. Your use of them is governed by their own terms and policies, and we are not responsible for them.
14. Termination
You can stop using the Service at any time and ask us to delete your data (see our Privacy page). We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms, if you do not pay, if we must do so by law, or if we stop offering the Service. Where we end the Service for everyone, we will tell you in advance where we reasonably can. Sections that by their nature should continue to apply after termination, such as those on ownership, disclaimers, liability and governing law, will continue to apply.
15. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent the law allows, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. This includes any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not promise that the Service or its AI-generated output will meet your needs, be accurate, or be free of errors.
Some places do not allow certain disclaimers. In those places, these disclaimers apply only as far as the law permits.
16. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Teyra LLC and its owners, officers and contractors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service, even if we were told it could happen.
To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you for all claims related to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the event that led to the claim, and (b) US$100.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.
17. Your responsibility
To the extent the law allows, you agree to cover losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) that we suffer because of a claim by a third party that arises from content you publish through the Service, or from your breach of these Terms.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the new version here with a new "last updated" date. For material changes, we will also notify you by e-mail or in the Service, where we reasonably can. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and cancel your subscription.
19. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If you are a consumer, you also keep the mandatory consumer protections of the country where you live. Before starting any formal dispute, please contact us at official@teyrallc.com so we can try to resolve it informally.
20. General
These Terms, together with our Refund Policy and Privacy page, are the whole agreement between you and Teyra LLC about the Service. If a part of these Terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a right, that does not waive it. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms without our consent. We may transfer ours as part of a merger, sale or reorganization. We may send notices to the e-mail address linked to your account or waitlist sign-up.
